Review of "Serenity" PU Leather Handbag
“I have had many compliments on the bag and the scripture verse on it.”
Lux in Tenebris
A friend walking through grief, a daughter preparing for Confirmation, a woman who needs a daily reminder that the darkness does not win, this wallet carries that word of hope wherever she goes.
About this design. Lux in Tenebris, Latin for Light in the Darkness, draws from the opening of the Gospel of John, where the evangelist proclaims that light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it. That promise sits at the heart of Catholic faith: in Advent longing, in the Easter Vigil flame, in every hard season when hope feels thin. A wallet bearing these words becomes a small, steady reminder that she is not in the dark alone.
Made for her days
- Pulling it out during Advent when the days feel shortest and long.
- Giving it at Confirmation as she steps into a fuller faith.
- Reaching for it on an ordinary hard day that needs one true word.
